New car seat rules for children 2018

On August 30 the American Academy of Pediatrics issued a policy statement with a recommendation that children should use a rear-facing car seat for longer. It used to be that parents could transition their child out of a rear-facing seat once the child was at least two years old and was at the minimum weight for a front-facing seat.
