2020 Kia Sportage release date
What better place to showcase an updated vehicle than at the Chicago Auto Show? In fact, it’s where the world got its first look at the new 2020 Kia Sportage. The sleek model gets a fresh new look for 2020 in addition to a variety of new technologies. Best of all, the new Sportage is set to go on sale in the first half of 2019.
Changes to the 2020 Kia Sportage
The updated Sportage receives a fresh look thanks to a variety of redesigned exterior elements, including a new front grille, bumper, alloy wheels, projector-beam fog lights and much more. There is also a new metallic Steel Grey exterior color option.
Inside the cabin, the 2020 Kia Sportage is now available with Sofino leatherette upholstery and a redesigned steering wheel and vent bezels. There is also a variety of new driver assist technologies, including driver attention warning, lane keeping assist, smart cruise control with start and stop, forward collision alert with pedestrian detection and high beam assist.
2020 Kia Sportage S trim features
The Sportage receives a new S trim with sporty exterior and interior design details for 2020. The new model comes packed with a generous array of entertainment and convenience technologies. Standard features include an 8-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and much more. The 2020 Kia Sportage is also available in LX, EX and SX trims and two engines, including a 181-hp, 2.4-liter and a 240-hp, 2.0-liter turbo engine both of which are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.
