Driver Assistance Technology
Getting to the Rosenberg Railroad Museum will be a simple feat in the 2025 K5. That’s because this car can identify other motorists approaching from adjacent sides of the vehicle. These sensors are known as the standard Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist¹. During those congested traffic moments, the standard Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection, which lets you know when you’re rapidly getting close to a person, vehicle, or sharp curve in the road. It engages the automatic braking system and applies stopping power to prevent an incident or reduce potential impact. If you have a habit of switching to other parts of the street without a signal, the standard Lane Keeping Assist³ will activate the torque to help you center on the path. When you’re in town or attending a big sports game, the standard Safe Exit Assist⁴ can disable the doors as other vehicles pass by.
Performance
The 2025 Kia K5 is capable of commuting on State Road 36 all week without stopping at the gas station every day.
